Landing page SEO refers to the practice of optimizing a landing page to improve its visibility and ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs). Incorporating targeted keywords, meta tags, and other SEO elements in your landing page can significantly increase the chances of your landing page ranking in search engine results.
Marketers create multiple landing pages for every campaign. Once a seasonal campaign ends, the landing pages are removed. When the campaign has to be run again the next year, the landing pages are newly created. Instead of starting from scratch, you can simply un-link your landing pages from navigation and reuse the same SEO-optimized landing pages.

Generating SEO Reports
SEO Insights can be viewed directly in the Page Analytics section. The SEO Insights report acts like a step-by-step guide to help optimize the text, images, links, and indexing essentials required for your landing page to rank.
- Click on the Page Analytics icon in the landing page builder to view the analytics section.
- In Page Analytics, click on the SEO Insights tab.
- In the SEO Insights tab, click on Generate Report to create a new report for the landing page.
Understanding SEO Reports
A SEO report consists of 3 sections; Overview, Analysis, and Summary.
- In the overview section, users can view the page title and description of the landing page.
- Users also have the ability to see the total word count of the page as well as a readability score indicating the ease or difficulty in understanding the content.
The readability score is based on Flesch-Kincaid Readability formula. On a scale of 1 to 100, a higher score indicates easier reading.
- In the Analysis section, users can get a detailed content analysis which includes the list of words, types of links found in the landing page, and images that don't have alt text.
- In the summary section, users can view a detailed SEO content checklist that can help improve on-page SEO efforts and an indexing essentials list that helps your technical/off-page SEO efforts.
Not every landing page is meant to be optimized for search engines. SEO is a time-consuming process that may not be well suited to short-term campaigns where competition is intense and results have to be instant. But SEO landing pages are well worth the time and effort under the right circumstances. They help reduce the marketing expenditure of long-term or periodical landing page campaigns and consistently bring in relevant, organic traffic.
