By default, your hub will be accessible with the portal URL. With custom domain, you create a custom domain and map it to your hub.
To create a custom domain for your hub:
1. Go to the Custom Domain tab, then click the Add Custom Domain button.
2. Enter your domain name then click the Next button.
3. Click Copy to copy the address for the CNAME record. Login to your Domain provider's admin console, then add the copied CNAME record under DNS configurations.
4. Once you've created a CNAME record, navigate to the Custom Domain tab in Admin Settings, then click Submit & Verify. The SSL certificate installation will be initiated and will be completed in a maximum of two business days.
5. To activate your custom domain, click Activate.
6. You can now access your hub with the configured custom domain.
7. To disable the custom domain for your hub, click Disable. Once the custom domain is disabled, you will be able to access your hub only via the default domain URL.
8. To delete the current custom domain configuration, click Delete. After deletion, the links containing the custom domain URL will no longer work and you will be able to access your hub only via the default domain URL.
Custom domain is available only in our Professional plan.
