Archiving Articles

Archiving Articles

You can archive articles that are no longer actively needed while retaining them for future reference. Archived articles are removed from active use but will remain available in the archive, allowing you to restore them whenever needed.

Archiving an article  

To archive an article:

  1. Navigate to the manual containing the article.

  2. Locate the article you want to archive.

  3. Click the More options icon next to the article and select Archive.

4. Choose whether you want to archive nested items and click Archive.

View archived articles  

To view archived articles:

  1. Navigate to the manual containing the articles.

  2. Click Manual Options and select Archived Articles.

  1. Browse the list of archived articles.

Restore an archived article  

You can restore an archived article whenever you need to make it available again.

To restore an article:

  1. Navigate to the manual containing the article.

  2. Click Manual Options and select Archived Articles.

  1. Locate the article you want to restore.

  2. Click the More options icon next to the article and select Unarchive.

5. Choose the parent article/chapter and click Unarchive.

Trash an archived article  

If you no longer need an archived article, you can permanently delete it.

To delete an archived article:

  1. Navigate to the manual containing the article.

  2. Click Manual Options and select Archived Articles.

 

  1. Locate the article you want to delete.

  2. Click the More options icon next to the article and select Move to Trash.

When an article linked to a lesson in a course is archived, the lesson will remain accessible to learners.
