Exporting an article as PDF

Article export enables you to save an offline, printable PDF version of your article, allowing access independent of your hub. You can protect the exported PDF file by setting up a password.

Who can export articles?

To allow users to export articles within the manual, the Export option must be enabled in the manual settings.
  1. Within the hub, all administrators, contributors, and readers of the manual can export articles.
  2. If the manual is shared to a custom portal, registered custom portal users can also export and print articles.
  3. Additionally, if the custom portal's access privilege is public and the manual is shared publicly, readers without a login can still export and print articles from the manual.

How to export an article as PDF

  1. Navigate to the article.
  2. Click the More Options icon ( ), then click Export and choose As PDF.

To set a password:

  1. Select Set Password.
  2. Enter the password, then click Export.

Exporting an article as HTML  

You can export individual articles in Zoho Learn as HTML files to reuse content outside your hub while preserving its structure and formatting. Exporting article as HTML is useful when you need to reuse content across websites or external platforms, maintain a portable, structured backup of your article.

What the export includes  

The HTML file retains the core structure and content of your article, including:

  • Text and formatting

  • Headings and layout hierarchy

  • Images used in the article

  • Hyperlinks

  • Attachments

How to export an article as HTML

  1. Go to the Manual.

  2. Navigate to the required article.

  3. Click the Article Options icon (⋯) in the top-right corner.

  4. Select Export and choose as HTML.

 

The file will be downloaded to your device.

Disabling article export

To disable exporting of an article :

  1. Navigate to the manual.
  2. Select the More Options () icon, then click Settings.

  1. Click Advanced under General, then enable Disable article export.

Disabling Article Export will also disable the Print option.
