What are the character, image and table cell limits for articles?

Character Limit

The maximum number of characters allowed in an article is 10 lakh (1 million).

Image Limit

An article can include a maximum of 200 images.

Table Cell Limit

You can have a total of 5000 table cells, regardless of the number of tables present in an article.

On exceeding any of these limits, you will not be able to add additional content of the respective type.

The character limit takes precedence over the other elements. This means that even if your article consists of only text characters without any images or tables and reaches the 10 lakh (1 million) character limit, you will still be unable to insert images or tables.
