Learn provides all the necessary information to analyze the progress and performance of your learners in a course. The details of the lessons, quizzes, assignments, and learners in your courses are provided on the course reports page.

 

Once you click on Reports, you'll see a mini dashboard under the overview section. This will include the total number of learners who are a part of this course, the number of learners yet to start, and those who have already completed the course. On the right hand side, you'll find additional details such as the average time spent on the course and the average progress of learners.

 

The Funnel tab shows the percentage of learners who have moved from one stage to another.You can filter out and view the list of learners in a specific stage with the help of Filter.

 

Lesson report

Lesson reports can provide insights into the learners' progress and effectiveness of the course.You can find details such as the total number of learners in each status and the total amount of time they have spent in each lesson.
You can choose a particular lesson from the Lesson tab to view a detailed user-wise report on the lesson, such as the start date, time spent, completion percentage, and status.

To view lesson reports:

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Go to the Lesson tab.


To view individual lesson report:

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.
  2. Go to the Lesson tab and click the lesson.

Filtering individual lesson reports

Data range filter
  1. Started Date: Get progress report of learners in a lesson based on the date the learners started taking the lesson.
  1. Completed Date: Get progress report of learners in a lesson based on the completed date.

To filter individual lesson report:

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.
  2. Go to the Lesson tab and click the lesson.
  3. Click the Filter By icon.

User-level report

User-level reports can be used to track the performance of individual users within the organization. These reports can help you take informed decisions.
You can view detailed reports for each user such as the start and completed dates, time spent, completion percentage, and status.

To view a user-level reports:

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Go to the User tab.

 

Viewing the performance of learners in custom portals

A custom portal acts as an extended platform to share information and courses with users who are not a part of your organization. You can view performance reports of learners who are part of your custom portal. Custom portal reports provide details such as the list of custom portals, the total number of learners within the portal, and the average progress of learners within the portal. Once you click on the portal of your choice, you will be able to view a detailed list of the users in the portal, their completion percentage, and status.

To view the performance of learners in custom portals:

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Click on the Cohorts tab. 

  3. Choose the custom portal to get individual custom portal report.

 

Viewing individual quiz reports

Viewing quiz reports can help admins analyze learners' performance. The quiz reports in Learn will include details such as the time spent, status, average score,average attempts, and many more.You can also get question-wise, space-wise and custom portal-wise analysis.  You can get detailed reports on quizzes by selecting the quiz.

To view individual quiz reports:

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Select the quiz from the Lessons tab.


Viewing an individual learner quiz report

You can also view a more detailed individual learner report, showing the number of attempts made by each learner, their chosen answers for each question, the time spent by each learner, and more. This report can be used as a tool for providing feedback to the user. It can highlight their strengths and weaknesses and provide suggestions on how to improve their performance

To view an individual learner report

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Select the Quiz from the Lessons tab.

  3. Select the learner whose report you want to see.

      4. Click the question of your choice to view their chosen answer for that question.


Notes
You can only view individual learner reports of learners who have completed the
quiz.

Viewing custom portal-wise quiz reports

You can view detailed reports for each of your custom portals. This means that you can analyze the quiz reports in different portals separately. You can view the list of spaces, the total list of custom portals, and the status of learners. Once you select a particular portal, you will be able to view a user-wise performance report of the quiz.

To view a portal-wise report:

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Select the Quiz from the Lessons tab.

  3. Select the Cohorts tab.

  4. Click on the portal of your choice.

 

Viewing individual assignment reports

You can easily view individual assignment reports in Zoho Learn.The assignment reports in Learn will include details such as the number of attempts, submission date, status, and much more.You get user-wise, space-wise, and custom portal-wise analysis.

To view user-wise assignment reports:

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Select the assignment from the Lessons tab.

  3. Click on the Users tab.


To view a portal-wise report:

  1. Navigate to the course and click Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Select the Assignment from the Lessons tab.

  3. Select the Cohorts tab.

  4. Click on the portal of your choice.


Changing the status of a learner

There can be instances where you will need to manually change the status of a learner. This could be due to various reasons, such as non-compliance with attendance or academic standards, a change in the learner's circumstances, or a request from the learner themselves.

To change the status of a learner:

  1. Go to the Users tab.

  2. Locate the learner whose status you want to change.

  3. Click on the More Options () button next to their status.

  4. Choose the action that you want to perform by clicking on it.


Notes
The status of a learner can be modified only once they have started the course.
