Direct Reports Analytics

Direct report analytics allows managers or team leads to track the progress of their direct reportees in courses. Hub admins must activate the integration with Zoho People so that managers can access direct report analytics.

Direct report analytics is available only to users with a Zoho One account whose organization is set up in Zoho People.

Enabling direct reports at the hub level

To enable direct report analytics:

Click on the hub settings.
Select Modules under the Manage tab.
Toggle the button next to Integration with Zoho People to enable it.

Enabling direct reports for a course

Course admins must enable direct reports for the courses that require direct report analytics.

To enable direct reports for a course:

Navigate to the course for which direct report analytics has to be enabled.
Click on course settings and then select Expand.
Toggle the button next to direct report analytics to enable it.

Viewing direct report analytics

Managers or team leads can access analytics for their direct reportees in courses where it is enabled by course admins.

To view direct report analytics:

Navigate to the Reports tab.
Click on Direct report analytics.

Note: You can access direct report analytics if you have at least one reportee.

Once you select the direct reports analytics card, you will see details such as the name of the course, active direct reports, yet to start, in progress , completed and not enrolled.

Here is what each of these mean;

Course - The name of the course will be listed under course.
Active direct reports - The names of you reportees will be listed under this section.
Yet to start - This section will show the total number of reportees who are yet to start the course.
In progress- In progress represents the number of reportees you have started taking the course.
Completed- This section will show the total number of reportees who have completed the course.
Not enrolled- The total number of reportees who have not yet enrolled for the course will be listed under this section.

To view individual course reports:

1.Select the course from the list of courses in the direct report analytics section.

Select the lessons tab to view the lesson-wise performance of you reportees
Select users tab to view reportee-wise performance in the course.

Note : You can export the data from this section by clicking the Export as CSV button.

Frequently asked questions

1. Can higher-level managers view the direct report analytics of indirect reportees ?

No, only a user's immediate manager or team lead can view their direct report analytics. Higher-level managers cannot access analytics for indirect reportees. For example, if Employee A reports to Manager B, and Manager B reports to Manager C, only Manager B can view Employee A's direct report analytics.

2. What happens if the Zoho People integration is disabled?

Managers will no longer be able to access direct report analytics, even for courses where the feature was previously enabled.
