Creating a Lesson

Lessons are individual units of content that can be created within a course.
You can create a lesson in one of the following ways:
  1. Creating a new lesson
  2. Importing lessons
  3. Linking an article to a lesson

Creating a new lesson

To create a new lesson:

  1. Navigate to the course, then go to the Lessons tab.
  2. Click the Add Lesson button.
  3. Give the lesson a name in the text box, then press Enter.

Importing lessons

Reuse existing lessons in courses by importing them into new courses.

To import lessons:

  1. Navigate to the course and go to the Lessons tab.
  2. Click the Add lesson dropdown, then select Import lessons.
  3. Search for the courses and the lessons and select the lessons.
  4. Click Import
Notes
  1. Only published lessons can be imported.
  2. You can import multiple lessons into a course at once.
  3. Lessons linked to an article cannot be imported. 

Linking articles to lessons

You can link the articles in your manuals to the lessons in the courses you create. The contents of the articles will be available as lessons for the learners.
  1. Navigate to the course and go to the Lessons tab.
  2. Click the Add lesson dropdown, then select Link articles.
  3. Search and select the articles.
  4. Click Link.

Notes
  1. Only published articles can be linked.
  2. Only manual admins can link articles to a course
  3. You can link multiple articles to a course at once.
  4. Embedded articles cannot be linked to a course.
  5. If the chapter, manual, or space that consists of articles linked to a course is deleted, the link will be removed automatically.
