Unified UI in Article Editor
Zoho Learn has introduced a new unified editor interface, aligning its content creation experience with that of popular authoring tools. The new editor is designed to reduce friction in content creation, improve discoverability of tools, and provide a familiar environment for users accustomed to standard authoring tools.

Old UI vs New UI
Aspect | Previous Editor | New Unified Editor |
Tool Access | Scattered / layered | Centralized top toolbar |
Learning curve | Moderate | Minimal (familiar UI) |
Navigation | Multiple clicks | Reduced clicks |
Efficiency | Moderate | Improved |
The editor now features a consolidated top-band toolbar, similar to modern document editors.

What this means:
- All major tools (formatting, layout, etc.) are grouped and visible in one place
- Reduced need to navigate across scattered menus
- Faster access to commonly used actions
2. Contextual tool grouping
Tools are now organized into logical, contextual groups rather than long lists or nested menus.
Benefits:
- Easier discovery of features
- Reduced cognitive load while editing
- Tools appear where and when they are relevant
3. Familiar authoring experience
The new editor UI is designed to resemble widely-used document tools like Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
Impact:
- Minimal learning curve for new users
- Faster onboarding for teams
- Immediate usability without training
4. Reduced clicks and faster actions
Frequently used actions are now:
- More accessible
- Closer to the editing surface
- Available with fewer interactions
