Old UI vs New UI

1. Unified top toolbar

The editor now features a consolidated top-band toolbar, similar to modern document editors.

What this means:

1. All major tools (formatting, layout, etc.) are grouped and visible in one place

2. Reduced need to navigate across scattered menus

3. Faster access to commonly used actions

2. Contextual tool grouping

Tools are now organized into logical, contextual groups rather than long lists or nested menus.

Benefits:

1. Easier discovery of features

2. Reduced cognitive load while editing

3. Tools appear where and when they are relevant

3. Familiar authoring experience

The new editor UI is designed to resemble widely-used document tools like Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

Impact:

1. Minimal learning curve for new users

2. Faster onboarding for teams

3. Immediate usability without training

4. Reduced clicks and faster actions
