Qualified Electronic Signatures via European Union eID for EU
Available only in Enterprise Edition
This integration allows signers to digitally sign documents using Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) that have been issued to signers via eID authentication. This integration can be used by both internal users from your Zoho Sign organization and external signers.
How to enable QES via EU eID
From the left navigation pane, click Settings > Integrations, and toggle QES via European Union eID option to ON. This can only be done by the administrators in your Zoho Sign organization.

The experience of the signers remains the same as it usually does with Zoho Sign except for the final step. To sign a document:
1. Select EU eID from the Sign via dropdown after agreeing to the e-signature terms and filling in all the signer fields.
2. Click Proceed in the confirmation pop-up following which you will be redirected to the third-party provider's website.
3. Select your country and choose one of the listed eID methods.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions based on the eID method you have chosen to finish signing the document.
How to check digitally signed documents for QES
1. Open the digitally signed document in a PDF-viewing application such as Adobe Acrobat or Foxit Reader.
2. Click on the Signature Panel to view the properties of the digital signature where you can find the highlighted text as shown below.
