Datacenter migration in Zoho Sign

Datacenter migration in Zoho Sign

When you create a Zoho account (and a Zoho Sign account by extension), all your information is stored in one of our datacenters (DC). Zoho will automatically assign you a DC corresponding to your location, based on your IP address. Once your Zoho account is created, all your data will be exclusively stored in your assigned DC, and will be restricted from being moved to a different geographical location based on the type of access.

The Zoho Sign app is presently available to customers for use from the following Zoho datacenters around the globe:
  1. United States (US) -> sign.zoho.com/...
  2. Canada (CA) -> sign.zohocloud.ca/...
  3. European Union (EU) -> sign.zoho.eu/...
  4. India (IN) -> sign.zoho.in/...
  5. Australia (AU) -> sign.zoho.com.au/...
  6. Japan (JP) -> sign.zoho.jp/...
However, due to evolving regional regulations and geopolitical developments, scenarios might arise where you need to migrate your data to a different DC.

How can I migrate my account and data to a different DC?

In these cases, you can drop an email request to migrations@zohoaccounts.com and our team will guide you through the process.

Please note the following limitations for migrating your Zoho Sign account between DCs:
  1. All documents with In-Progress and Expired status will be automatically marked as Recalled, and the documents will need to be resent for signing.
  2. All SignForms will be deactivated and their existing URLs won't work. The sender will have to reactivate their SignForms, and share the new URL.
  3. Users must reconfigure all integrated services such as digital signatures and document timestamping offered by third-party providers. The providers and the services they offer in Zoho Sign may vary based on your DC.
