Advanced electronic signatures via Nafath for Saudi Arabia

Available in all paid plans and only in the Saudi Arabia data center 

emdha is a certified trust service provider recognized by the Kingdom's Digital Government Authority and licensed by the Saudi Communications, Space, and Technology Commission. The emdha integration offers advanced electronic signatures by enabling signers to authenticate themselves and sign the documents via the Nafath mobile application, making the documents legally compliant with the Electronic Transactions Law of 2007. 

Prerequisites for AES via emdha

  1. Any Zoho Sign subscription 
  2. Valid Zoho Sign credits (Each signing will consume 25 Zoho Sign credits )

Enabling emdha in Zoho Sign

This action can only be performed by administrators. If you're an administrator, follow these steps:
  1. From the left navigation pane, hover your cursor on Settings and click Integrations.
  2. Search for emdha and toggle emdha to ON.

Requiring recipients to sign envelope with emdha

  1. From your Zoho Sign dashboard, click Send for Signatures.
  2. Upload the document, add the recipient details, and click Customize corresponding to each recipient.
  3. Under Digital Signature Providers, click Selected Providers.
  4. Select emdha and then click Save.
  5. Once all the settings are completed, click Continue, add the document fields, and send the document for signature
You can add up to 10 documents in a single envelope.


Signing documents with emdha in Zoho Sign

Once your recipient receives the envelope signing link, they will:
  1. Click Start Signing and choose Proceed to document.
  2. Agree to the terms and conditions, and fill in all the required fields.
  3. Click Sign with emdha.
  4. Enter the National/Iqama ID.
  5. Click Proceed.
  6. A pop-up will be displayed with a number.
    1. Open the Nafath mobile application and select the same number displayed on their screen.
    2. Enter the personal PIN, and upon successful authorization, the envelope will be signed.

Checking documents signed with emdha

  1. Open the signature properties of the signed document.
  2. Click Show Signer's Certificate.
  3. The Certificate Viewer will open, where the certificate details can be found.
