Zoho Sign integration with Freshsales

Zoho Sign now integrates with Freshsales, a customer relationship management solution that helps businesses across different industries manage their interactions with existing and potential customers. 

Freshsales lets you track your sales lead, manage your sales, and call your leads in a single click. With Zoho Sign's extension for Freshsales, you can not only manage your documents and track their progress in real-time but also get your documents digitally signed with seamless e-signature workflows directly from your Freshsales hub.

This integration will be helpful to your company's sales team, who work closely with business leads and prospects. Install the extension and start sending documents directly from the Freshsales dashboard. This will help your sales team save time, connect with more clients and prospects, and deliver a great customer experience.

Prerequisites

  1. A valid Freshsales account
  2. Enterprise edition of Zoho Sign
  3. Sufficient Zoho Sign credits (5 credits/document signature request)

Installing the Zoho Sign app in Freshsales

  1. From the left navigation pane, hover on Settings and click on Admin Settings.
  2. Under the Website Tracking, Integrations, and APIs section, click Marketplace for CRM found under the Apps subsection.
  3. Search for Zoho Sign for Freshsales and select the app.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Click on Enable in the configuration page.



  6. Click Authorize and enter your Domain URL and API Key.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Upon successful authorization, click Authorize and enter your Zoho Sign credentials.
  9. A new pop-up window will open, where you will be asked to install the extension. Click Accept to complete the installation.
  10. Upon successful authorization, click Complete Installation.
  11. Click Install to complete the installation process.

How to view your domain alias and API key

From your Freshsales dashboard, click your profile icon > Settings > API Settings. Verify the captcha to view your acocunt's domain alias and API key



How to send a document or a template from Freshsales

  1. From your Freshsales dashboard, hover the mouse over Contacts and accounts and click Contacts.
  2. Select the desired contact. In the contact information page, from the left navigation pane, click Zoho Sign for Freshsales.
  3. Here, you can find the option to either send a document for signature or send a template for signature.

Send a document for signature using the Zoho Sign for Freshsales extension

  1. Click Documents for Signature, select the document, and click Upload.
  2. You will be automatically redirected to the Zoho Sign page, where you can add additional settings.
  3. Once done, click Continue.



  4. Insert the document fields and send the document for signature.
  5. Refresh your Freshsales window to track the status of the document.

Send a template for signature using Zoho Sign for Freshsales extension

  1. Click Templates for Signature and select a template you have already created in Zoho Sign. 
  2. You will be automatically redirected to the Zoho Sign page, where you can click Continue to add additional fields, or click Quick Send
  3. Refresh your Freshsales window to track the status of the document.

All the templates you have created in your Zoho Sign account will be listed on the Templates for Signature page.

Tracking documents sent from Zoho Sign's extension for Freshsales

You can track the document status in two ways:

From the Freshsales dashboard

  1. Select the contact. In the contact information page, from the left navigation pane, click Zoho Sign for Freshsales.
  2. Here, you can find the status of all the documents and templates sent out for signature.
  3. Select the document to view its details, along with additional reminder and save options.




From the Zoho Sign dashboard

  1. Hover your mouse over Documents in your Zoho Sign dashboard and click In progress.
  2. Select the document and you can track the document's current status, along with additional reminder, save, and edit options.
