Sending documents from Bigin by Zoho CRM
Available in all paid plans and data centers
Upon successful installation of the Zoho Sign extension, the details pages of Pipelines, Contacts, and Companies will have the Zoho Sign button. This button can be used to send documents, Bigin attachments, and Zoho Sign templates for signature directly from your Bigin dashboard.
Sending documents or Bigin attachment for signature
- Select a record from the appropriate module: Pipelines, Contacts, or Companies.
- In the record details page, click Send with Zoho Sign.
- You can upload and send a document for signature in one of the three ways: Drag and drop, upload the document from your local device, or select a Bigin attachment. You can also select Zoho Sign templates from the Use template dropdown.
- To upload documents in Bigin, click Files and drag the files, or click Browse and select from your local storage.
- Under the recipients section, select the recipient category (Contact, Email, or User).
- You can add multiple recipients by clicking +Add recipients.
- If you have multiple recipients, you can set a custom signing order by enabling the Send in order option. Please note that each recipient will receive an email with the document signing link only when the previous recipient has completed signing the document.
- You can leave a note for all your recipients or add a description for your document.
- You can also find additional settings like days to complete the document, document validity, and sending automatic reminders.
- Click Quick Send if you wish to send the document directly.
- Upon clicking Next, you will be redirected to Zoho Sign's document viewer window.

Sending Zoho Sign templates for signature
- Select a record from the appropriate module.
- In the record details page, click Send with Zoho Sign.
- Click Use template > Zoho Sign templates. Learn how to create a template in Zoho Sign
- Upon selecting a template, you can match the prefilled fields according to fields present in your Bigin record.
- Fill out the recipient details.
- The prefiled fields can be filled by using the data present in the record by choosing the respective fields that you wish to merge.
- Click Next to edit documents fields and send them out for signature. Alternatively, you can click Quick Send to send the template out for signature without editing the document fields.
Checking document status
- Select the record and click Track Zoho Sign documents.
- You can find the list of all documents along with their status.
- Once you click the document's name, you will be redirected to Zoho Sign's document status page where you can find more details about the document.
