Integrating Zoho Sign with Zoho People

Available in all Data Centers. 

From onboarding documents to exit letters, the HR department handles tons of employee and company information. Most of these documents will require signatures from the employees, after which they need to be returned and securely stored. Zoho Sign's integration with Zoho People helps HR teams thrive by making the hiring and employee management process more agile via digital signing and workflow automation. Zoho Sign allows people both inside and outside a company to sign, store, and collect signatures electronically from anywhere.


Prerequisites

  1. A valid Zoho Sign
  2. A valid Zoho People subscription
    (or)
  3. A valid Zoho One subscription

Integrating Zoho Sign with Zoho People

Only an administrator can perform this action. An administrator can perform this action using the following steps:
  1. Log in to Zoho People.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner, then navigate to Marketplace.
  3. On the Integrations page, under Zoho, search for Zoho Sign and click Configure.
  4. If you already have a Zoho Sign account, the integration will be enabled immediately.
  5. If not, you will be redirected to the Zoho Sign signup page to create an account.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the account setup process.
  7. Once done, you will then be automatically redirected to the Zoho People's integrations page, where you can see that the Zoho Sign integration has been enabled.
    You can integrate only one e-sign platform with Zoho People at a time. To switch to a new e-sign platform, you must revoke the existing integration and configure with the new one.
  8. Click View Details.
  9. Here, you can add users with an active Zoho Sign subscription from your Zoho Sign account to Zoho People.
    To do so:
    1. Click Add user account.
    2. Enter the name of the user and click Confirm.
    3. When the relevant users are added, an authorization e-mail seeking permission to use their tokens will be sent. Once the user confirms their invite, they will be added to the Zoho People account. 
Notes
When a user who is a part of Zoho People but not Zoho Sign sends an e-sign document, a token from one of the users that belong to both Zoho Sign and Zoho People will be used.
