Available in all plans and all data centers.

Accessibility options in Zoho Sign are designed to create an inclusive digital signing experience. These features improve navigation, readability, and usability across the interface—whether you rely on assistive technologies, prefer keyboard navigation, or need visual adjustments for better clarity.

How to open the accessibility options in Zoho Sign

  1. From your Zoho Sign dashboard, click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Under Accessibility, click Accessibility options. You will see a list of supported accessibility options here.

These settings are user-specific and will apply only to the individual user using this feature, not the entire organization.

Reading mask

The reading mask feature helps users focus on one section of text at a time. This improves readability and reduces visual strain, especially for those with attention or reading difficulties.

How to use reading mask in Zoho Sign

  1. Under Accessibility options, go to Reading mask.
  2. Toggle the switch to turn it on.
  3. You can change the reading mask perimeter by choosing Small, Medium, or Large.
  4. You can further customize the perimeter by clicking Custom and adjusting the height, width and opacity of the reading mask.



Character spacing

The character spacing options allows users to adjust the amount of space between letters and words for improved readability. This helps users with visual or cognitive challenges read text more comfortably and reduce eye strain. 

How to change character spacing in Zoho Sign

  1. Under Accessibility options, go to Character spacing.
  2. Choose your preferred character spacing from the options.



Font size

The font size options allow users to adjust text size across the interface to suit their visual comfort and reading preferences.

Font family

The font family options allows users to choose from a range of readable and accessible font styles that best suit their visual preferences. Selecting a clear, easy-to-read font improves legibility and reduces visual fatigue, especially for users with reading difficulties or extended on-screen usage.

  1. Under Accessibility options, go to Font family.
  2. Choose your preferred font family.



Screen reader

Zoho Sign is compatible with screen readers to identify and announce interface elements and buttons, providing an inclusive signing experience for users with visual impairments.

How to enable screen reader in Zoho Sign

There are several ways to enable a screen reader, depending on your operating system. For example, If you’re using a Mac, press Command + F5 to turn on VoiceOver.  

Zoom

Zoho Sign's enhanced zoom capabilities improves visibility and readability across the application. Users with low vision or those working on a smaller screens can zoom in on interface elements without losing clarity or layout consistency. 

How to change Zoho Sign's page magnification

Press Command/Ctrl and +/-, adjust the page preferred magnification so that the workflow is easy to navigate. 

Switch Labels

Zoho Sign now uses clear text labels to ensure that toggle switches are easy to interpret even without relying on colour cues. This enhancement supports users with colour vision deficiencies or those who prefer non-color-based visual guidance. 

How to enable Switch Labels in Zoho Sign

  1. Under Accessibility options, go to Switch Labels.
  2. Toggle the switch to turn it on.



Magnify Text on Hover

The Magnify Text on Hover feature enhances readability by enlarging text when users move their cursor over it. This helps individuals who experience eye strain, have mild visual impairments, or prefer larger text for quick scanning. Without altering the overall interface layout, hovered text temporarily scales up, making labels, menu items, and instructions easier to read.

How to enable Magnify Text on Hover in Zoho Sign

  1. Under Accessibility options, go to Magnify Text on Hover.
  2. Toggle the switch to turn it on.
  3. Press alt or option and hover over the text to magnify it. 



Focus ring

The focus ring provides a clear visual highlight around the element currently selected through keyboard navigation. This is especially valuable for users who rely on tab-based navigation or assistive technologies, ensuring they always know exactly where their focus is on the screen. The ring adapts to various UI components—such as buttons, fields, menus, and links—making it easier to move through workflows without a mouse.

  1. Under Accessibility settings, go to Focus ring.
  2. Toggle the switch to turn it on.
  3. Use the tab key to move through the interface elements in Zoho Sign.
