Import from Zoho Projects
- The workspace owner in Sprints must also be the Portal Owner in Zoho Projects to import projects.
- You can import up to 50 projects at a time.
- You can process a single import at a time.
- Import feature comes with a trial period of 15 days and 100 users in free plan. Users added during that trial period will be deactivated when the trial ends.
Import data
To import from Zoho Projects:
- Click the gear icon at the top-right corner. The settings window will appear.
- Click Project under Imports.
- Select Zoho Projects.
- Select the checkbox to agree to the terms and conditions.
- Click Authorize.
- Click Accept to allow Zoho Sprints to pull data from Zoho Projects, if not done already.
- Select a Zoho Projects portal from the drop-down.
- Select a status (Active, Archived, Template) and then select projects.
- You can select up to 50 projects at a time.
- We support Active, Archived Projects, and Project Templates.
- Click Import.
When a project is imported, you'll receive an email and feed notification and then the next project import is initiated. This goes on until all the projects are imported. You can access the imported projects from the Projects tab in Zoho Sprints.
- If the project user is not added to Zoho Sprints, and if the respective project is imported to Zoho Sprints, the work item will be in unassigned category.
- When an import of 5 projects is initiated, and due to some reason the third project fails to import, the following projects to be imported will also fail. Once the issue is resolved, you can reinitiate the import process for the failed ones.
- While importing the projects, the inline attachments of item description, comments, and sprint comments also get downloaded.

Import custom fields
- Create a layout for the work item with the custom fields available in Zoho Projects for the data to be mapped correctly.
- The system auto-populates the data in custom fields in Zoho Sprints with the equivalent custom field in Zoho Projects in the field mapping screen.
- The picklist options of both Zoho Projects and Zoho Sprints should be the same to avoid data mismatch. For example, if a picklist field in Zoho Projects has options A, B, and C, the same picklist options must be available in the mapped Zoho Sprints picklist field.
