Create and manage connections
You can create connections using the available default services or add a new service based on your requirement.
Create connection
To create connection:
- Click the gear icon at the top-right. The settings window will appear.
- Select Connections under Automation. The connections listing page will appear.
- Click the Create Connection button.
- Pick the required service from the list of default services.
- Enter connection name and connection link name.
- Select the scopes. Scopes allow you to determine the access level for access that service to perform actions like add, update, etc.

- Click the Create and Connect button. You will be requested to connect to the newly established connection.
- Click Proceed and authorize the connection. The connection will be created.
Enable or disable Use Credentials of Login User based on your usage and preference.
Edit connection
To edit connection:
- Click the gear icon at the top-right. The settings window will appear.
- Select Connections under Automation. The connections listing page will appear.
- Hover over required connection on the listing page.
- Click the Edit icon.
- Make required changes to the name or scope.
- Click the Update button. You will be requested to re-authenticate.
- Perform re-authentication and update the connection.
Alternatively, click the connection and navigate to the summary page and use the edit option here.
Delete connection
To edit connection:
- Click the gear icon at the top-right. The settings window will appear.
- Select Connections under Automation. The connections listing page will appear.
- Hover over required connection on the listing page.
- Click the Delete icon. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
Alternatively, click the connection and navigate to the summary page and use the delete option here.
Create service
To create service:
- Click the gear icon at the top-right. The settings window will appear.
- Select Connections under Automation. The connections listing page will appear.
- Click the Create Connection button.
- Select Custom Services.
- Click Create New Service.
- Enter service details like service name, link name, authentication type, param type, etc.
- Click the Create Service button. The service is created. Now you can proceed to establishing a connection for the service with the due authorization.
Revoke connection
You can revoke access to a service by revoking connection. This leads to the connection being discontinued. Revoking connection will cause existing functions created using the connection to fail.
To revoke connection:
- Click the gear icon at the top-right. The settings window will appear.
- Select Connections under Automation. The connections listing page will appear.
- Hover over required connection on the listing page.
- Click the Revoke button. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
- Click Revoke to discontinue connection.
