Closed group conversations can be indispensable to members working on a particular task. Zoho Sprints comes equipped with an in-built capability to create a group chat for a work item. This capability that is available in item, sprint, board, and release modules enables you chat with the fellow users in your workspace.

- You can create multiple chat groups with conversations specific to a particular module.
You can create up to 100 chat groups in each module.
Create a chat group in for an item
To create a chat group for an item:
- Navigate to the details page of that item.

- Click the chat icon that is available on the right-side menu bar. The Create Chat Group window will appear.
- Edit the group name. The item name will be the default group name.
Note: Group name can be up to 250 characters. - Select participants based on User Type, Profiles, or Roles.
- Click the Create button. The chat group is created and listed. Access this group to start a conversation.
- Click the +Chat Group button to create another group.
- You can access the chat groups from cliq.zoho.com as well.
Edit chat group
To edit chat group:
- Navigate to the Group Chat window of the required item (or release, sprint, or board).
- Hover over the group chat name. The Edit link will appear.
- Click Edit.
- Add or remove participants.
- Click the Update button. The changes will be saved.
Delete chat group
To delete chat group:
- Navigate to the Group Chat window of the required item (or release, sprint, or board).
- Hover over the group chat name. The Delete link will appear.
- Click Delete. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
- Click the Delete button. The group will be deleted along with the chat transcripts.
