Create custom link type

1. Click the gear icon at the top-right corner. The settings window will appear.
   
2. Select Work Item Links under Customization. The link type listing window will appear.
   
   
3. Click the +Link Type button. The creation window will appear.
   
4. Enter link name and back link name.
   Note: The link name and back link name need to be different.
5. Click the Create button. The link type will be added to the listing page.
   
6. Use this link type while linking work items. Learn more.

You can add up to 36 link types including the default link types.

Edit custom link type

1. Click the gear icon at the top-right corner. The settings window will appear.
   
2. Select Work Item Links under Customization. The link type listing window will appear.
   
3. Hover over the required custom link.
   
   
4. Click the Edit link.
   
5. Make changes.
   
6. Click the Update button. The link type will be updated.
   

You cannot edit default link types.

Delete custom link type

1. Click the gear icon at the top-right corner. The settings window will appear.
   
2. Select Work Item Links under Customization. The link type listing window will appear.
   
3. Hover over the required custom link.
   
4. Click the Delete link. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
   
5. Click the Delete button. The link type will be deleted from the listing page.
   

You cannot delete default link types.
