What is the difference between Zoho Sprints and Zoho Projects?

While both, Zoho Sprints and Zoho Projects, are software project management tools that helps businesses manage work efficiently, they are unique in how projects are run in them.

Zoho Projects offers conventional project management techniques with the traditional waterfall methodology. Each project comprises a set of tasks, and these tasks are all time-bound within the project. It follows a linear process with a fixed timeline, where each project gets completed after all the tasks and encompassing milestones are delivered. Since the timeline gets decided right at the project inception, there is lesser flexibility in projects. Also, waterfall methodology does not encourage client involvement in development cycles, unlike Agile methodology.

Zoho Sprints is an agile project management tool that helps your team deliver outcomes in a periodic cycle called Sprints. It supports continuous improvement with constant collaboration with the team members as well as clients. Each sprint spans around 2-8 weeks, and the work items planned for it is moved from the product backlog. Sprints are taken up in succession until all the items in the project are completed. Agile offers better flexibility and embraces change at any point in the project. Additionally, the CI/CD integrations facilitate a seamless interaction between your Zoho Sprints workspace and third party developer tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps to efficiently manage your development efforts. If your team is looking for a modernized method of project management with better collaboration, Zoho Sprints would be the perfect choice.
