How do I set the timer?

You can set timer for work items either in the global timer or the timer specific to work items assigned to you.

To log time in specific work items, open the item assigned to you, and click Start Timer at the top-right corner.

To log time using global timer, click the global timer icon in the right-side menu bar, search for the work item, mouse-over it, and click Start. Learn in detail about global timer.
