Kanban dashboard

A dashboard provides you with an intelligent information processing system in a graphical interface. It receives data from linked sources and transforms them into visualizations that give a quick glance into the key performance indicators of your business objective. The information gathered through dashboards allows you to track and analyze your progress and improve your overall strategy and process for enhanced results.

The kanban dashboard provides a dynamic understanding of data in your project with the help of graphical charts and stats.



The following charts are available on the dashboard:
  1. Board completion
  2. Item count
  3. User engagement
  4. Board activity
  5. Log hours and billing status
  6. User activity

View dashboard

To view kanban dashboard:
  1. Open the required kanban project. The kanban board will appear.
  2. Hover over the info icon near the board name. The view details button will appear.
  3. Click View Details. The project details page will appear.
  4. Select dashboard tab to view the dashboard.

Board completion

  1. View the overall progress on the board.
  2. View the completed work items and the open work items on the board.
  3. View completion by estimation points or item count.

How to read the chart?

The board completion chart represents the overall completion percentage based on number of work items completed or the number of estimation points achieved.

Item count

  1. Get the count of items in each item type.
  2. Get the count of items in each priority type.
  3. Hover over the item types and priority types to view their count individually.
  4. Click the export icon to export the chart.
  5. Click the expand icon to get an expanded view of the chart.

How to read the chart?

Item count chart represents the total work items, count of open, and closed items on the board. In the chart above, the board has a total of 25 work items. You can track the number of items in the different item types and priorities.
  1. Out of the 25, 6 items are bugs, 9 are user stories, and 10 are tasks.
  2. Similarly, the count is distributed across priority levels.

Log hours

  1. View the log hours submitted for the work items on the board.
  2. Track the billing status of the submitted logs.
  3. Click the export icon to export the chart.
  4. Click the expand icon to get an expanded view of the chart.

User engagement

  1. View the most engaged users in the project.
  2. View their engagement based on the open items and closed items.
  3. Hover over chart to track each user's items based on the number of items in each status.

Board activity

  1. Track the activity on the board as Added, Moved across status, Reopened, Closed, and Idle.
  2. View the activity by the count of items in each activity.
  3. View the activity by the estimation points of items in each activity.
  4. Hover over the bars to get the count or points of items.

User activity

  1. Assess progress with the help of information on user activity.
  2. View activity of all users or assigned users.
  3. Track items by their status and view them by count of estimation points.
  4. Click the expand icon to get an expanded view of the chart.
