Customize OKR layout

The Objectives and Key Results creation form is composed of fields that help capture the details that need to be recorded. Zoho Sprints offers a default layout for both Objectives and Key Results. However, you can customize the default layout with all the required fields. This enables you to include additional fields apart from the default fields. So, you can introduce custom fields into the form's layout based on your requirement. After you've customized the layout, your default layout will display the newly added custom fields along with the default fields.

Default section in layouts   

The following fields are part of the default section:
  1. Owner (available only for Objectives layout)
  2. Assignee
  3. Start Date
  4. End Date
  5. OKR Status
  6. Associated Projects
  7. Title
  8. Parent Objective
  9. Weightage
  10. Description 
In addition to the above fields, the below fields will be available only for the Key Results layout.
  1. Value Unit
  2. Initial Value
  3. Final Value
  4. Current Value
Notes
 These fields cannot be deleted from the layout because they help capture crucial information about the objective and key result. 

Customize default layout 

Default layout of Objective and Key Result can be customized to meet your requirements. You can edit the layout and include new fields to the layout. However, please note that the default fields cannot be modified or deleted. Drag and drop the required fields from the New Fields tray or reuse existing fields from the Existing Fields tray.  
  1. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to navigate to the Settings page.
  2. Go to Custom Layouts under Customization.
  3. Select OKR. 

  4. Click the required layout on the listing page. The layout edit window will appear.
  5. Add new fields from the New Fields tray or reuse existing fields from the Existing Fields tray.
  6. Click Save or Update to save the changes. 
Alert
Feature behavior:
  1. Default layouts of OKR cannot be deleted.
  2. Utilize the default OKR layouts to customize the fields. Creation of new layout and cloning isn't active for OKRs to ensure alignment across teams.

Note:
  1. Only users with permission to Manage Custom Fields for OKR can customize the OKR layout. Learn about customizing profile permissions. 
  2. This feature can be accessed if you are in a plan that supports OKR and custom layouts.
