The activity reminder enables a user to configure scheduled emails that include the list of assigned, unassigned work items, or pending work items (that are in To-do and In-progress status) to the user's email address. The list of work items is sent in html format. It provides a comprehensive idea of the items.
To set activity reminder for items:
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner. The settings window will appear.
- Select Activity Reminder under Personal Settings.
- Click the Enable button.
- Go to the Assigned, Unassigned, or Pending Work items section.
- Select the Frequency at which the emails need to be sent.
- Daily - You need to set the time for the email to be triggered
- Weekly - You need to set the day and time for the email to be triggered
- Monthly - You need to set the date or day and the time for the email to be triggered
- Click the Update button. Your settings are updated and you will receive the email according to your settings.
- Click the Disable button to disable notifications.
- The work items will be available as an HTML attachment in the email. You need to download to view the contents of the file.
