Card view customization in Zoho Sprints enables you to define the layout of your work item card. The display of work items in your sprint board comes with view options that allow you to tweak the elements that are included in each view. The detail view of work item cards can be customized. This customization is applied to the card view of the sprint board.
It is also applied to the card view on release board items and epic items.
- The default fields Item ID, Item Name, Assignee, Estimation Points, and Timer cannot to removed from visibility.
- The rest of the fields like Attachment Preview, Attachment, Checklist, Linked Items, Comments, and All tags can be hidden or shown based on your preference.
Similarly, the status that needs to be visible on the sprint board can also be customized.
- The default statuses like To do and Done cannot be removed from visibility.
- The other statuses like In progress and custom statuses can be hidden or shown based on your preference.
Customize field view
To customize field view:
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner. The settings window will appear.
- Click on Customize Card under Personal Settings. The card customization window will appear.
- Select the required project.
- Go to Card.
- Select the customizable fields that you want to include in the card view. For instance, if you want to include Comments field, select comments.
- Click the Update button.
- Navigate to the board to view the changes. The fields included are available when you click the ellipsis icon in the item card.
Customize status view
To customize status view:
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner. The settings window will appear.
- Click on Customize Card under Personal Settings. The card customization window will appear.
- Select the required project.
- Go to Status.
- Select or deselect the customizable statuses that you want to include to the board or exclude from view.
- Click the Update button.
- Navigate to the sprint board to view the changes.
Pin fields to the view
To pin fields:
- Select the required project.
- Go to Card.
- Select the customizable fields that you want to include in the card.
- Click the pin icon. For instance, if you want to pin Linked Items field, select the field and click the pin icon.
- Click the Update button.
- Navigate to the board to view the changes. The pinned fields appear as icons on the item card. In this case, Linked Items icon will appear on the card.
