Shortcut keys

Shortcut keys provide you with a quick and convenient method to navigate through the application and perform actions. You can use the components on your keyboard to instantaneously see the expected results.

Zoho Sprints comes with built-in customization to personalize the shortcuts available to you. You can modify the keys that perform actions. The customization is available in the following:
  1. Navigation across the application (Global navigation)
  2. Create action for each of the modules (Shortcuts to create)
  3. Navigation across modules (Project modules)
  4. Navigation between detail view pages (Detail view pages) 

Benefits

  1. The shortcuts can be built using keys that are comfortable for you to use.
  1. The customization will be specific to you alone and will not affect other users of the workspace.
  2. The enable/disable option helps you to allow shortcuts for actions selectively.

Customize shortcut keys

To customize shortcut keys:
  1. Click the gear icon in the top right corner. The Settings window will appear.
  2. Click on Shortcut Keys under Personal Settings.
  3. Go to the required section.
  4. Click on the existing shortcut key name. An editable field will appear.
  5. Enter the new shortcut key name.
  6. Click the tick icon to update. The shortcut keys will be changed.
Notes
  1. You can use up to 3 characters for the shortcuts.
  2. You cannot use Cmd, Ctrl, Fn, Opt, Shift and Tab keys for custom shortcuts.
  3. You cannot repeat the combination of keys for multiple shortcuts.
  4. The standard shortcut for Export data from any module is using Cmd + A and Cmd + C (for Mac) or Ctrl + A and Ctrl + C (for windows) and paste it in XLS or Text files.

 Reset shortcut keys

To reset the shortcuts to the default keys:
  1. Click the gear icon in the top right corner. The Settings window will appear.
  2. Click on Shortcut Keys under Personal Settings.
  3. Click Reset on individual section to reset the shortcuts under it.
  4. Click Reset to default to reset the shortcuts of all the sections.
