Complete sprint
You can complete a sprint from your board when the items in the sprint are moved to closed status. The sprint goal is achieved and the sprint can be completed. Or, you can also complete an ongoing sprint, if the items in the sprint are not relevant or don't meet the priority requirements.
To complete a sprint:
- Go to the respective project.
- Navigate to the Board module.
- Select the required sprint.
- Click View Sprint Details. The Sprint Details page will appear.
- Click the Sprint Action dropdown at the top.
- Select Complete. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
- Click the Complete button. The sprint will be completed.
- If there are open items in an ongoing sprint, the items need to be moved, completed, or deleted to complete the sprint.
- You can reopen a completed sprint from the sprint details page.
View completed sprints
To view completed sprints:
- Go to the Reports module.
- Select Sprint Reports.
- Click the ellipsis icon.
- Select Completed Sprints. The list of completed sprints will appear with details on the planned end date and the actual end date.
- Click the Release Notes button to view resolved and unresolved items.
- Release notes are used to track the progress of the completed sprints in the project. It displays the resolved and unresolved work items in the sprint. You can export the work items either as a CSV or a XLS file.
- Reopen the sprint from here to reinstate the sprint.
