Test Management Export

You can export test cases and its execution details using the Test Management export feature. The exported data will be in XLS or CSV format which can be downloaded and used elsewhere as per your requirement.

Modules available for export: Test Case & Test Execution

Benefits 

  1. Offline collaboration and review.
  2. Facilitates seamless migration between tools.
  3. Download the file and import to a different project.
  4. Set regular export intervals to maintain up-to-date records for daily stand-up meetings. 

Export permission 

Export is enabled by default for the users in the following profiles: 
  1. Admin
  2. Joint Admin
  3. Project Owner
  4. Manager
Export permission can be enabled for other profile users by the admins. 

Export test cases / test executions 

  1. Navigate to a project.
  2. Select Test Management.
  3. To export test cases, click the Test Cases module.  
  4. To export test runs, click the Test Runs module.
  5. Select the required test run to export their executions.
  6. Click the more actions icon at the top.
  7. Select Export. The Export Filter will appear.
  8. Select the required file format.
  9. Select the fields that need to be exported.
  10. Specify Recurrence Type to set up scheduled exports.
  11. Enable Header to assign the field names as headers for the columns.

  13. Click the Apply and Export button. The export will be initiated. 
    Export Test Case: 

    Test Execution:  

  14. Click the ellipsis icon and select Export History in the menu. The exported file will be available in the Completed Export tab.
  15. Completed Export lists the Date, Time, and File Name of your export. View the export details and, if applicable, the recurrence details of the file.
  16. Active Export lists all the files that are active and scheduled for export.
  17. Click the file or the Download icon to download the file. You can also track this export info in the Activity Stream on the Feed.

 Feature behaviour  

  1. You can export only the current version of the test case.
  2. Each step and its expected result will be stored in different cells and rows.
  3. Test run details exported will be added with the project details.
  4. Recurring export isn't available for Test Execution
