Data shared with external AI services
When seeking help from AI, it’s important to remember that the AI needs some input from you to assist you. Before asking for assistance, take a moment to think about the information you’re sharing. Understanding the type of data that will be shared with external AI services is key to making sure you're comfortable with what you're providing. Always be mindful of your privacy and data security as you engage with AI.
While using AI services, key details you provide, such as descriptions and comments, are typically shared with the AI based on the features you select. In checklist, the item name you include will be shared with the AI to facilitate a more accurate response.

- Comments header and footer
- Description editor
- Meeting editor
- Checklist add and update form
- Checklist (add a new checklist item to the existing checklist)
- Code editor
- Custom functions description editor
- Email templates text editor
- Disclaimer text editor
Data sharing based on the feature
Rephrase
This feature is available in the Description and Comments section. Based on the usage location, the data in the description or comments will be shared with the AI service. The phrase you enter in the text box to rephrase the content will also be shared with the chosen AI service to receive the required response.
Translate
This feature is available in the editor of Description, Comments, and Meeting. Based on the usage location, the data in the respective location will be shared with the AI service along with the content to be translated. For instance, if you would like a comment to be translated, the respective comment will be shared with the AI service.
Shorten
This feature is available in the editor of the Description, and Comments section. Based on the usage location, the data in the respective location will be shared with the AI service along with the content to be shortened.
Punctuation
This feature is available in the editor of the Description, and Comments section. Based on the usage location, the data in the respective location will be shared with the AI service along with the content to be punctuated.
Conversation sentiment and tone
This feature is available for the Comments section. The entire comment will be shared with the AI service to analyze the sentiment or tone.
Summary
When you have a larger content in the description, and you would like to read just the summary of it, then the description will be shared with the AI service to get the summarized content.
If you have multiple comments, and you would like to read the conversation summary, then all the comments in the comments section will be shared with the AI service to get the conversation summary.
Application use case
This feature is available in the editor of the Description. The description of the respective module will be shared with the AI service to generate the use cases.
Meeting topics
Minutes of Meeting contains the information discussed during the meeting. This can be generated via Meeting topics. A gist of MOM should be entered in the Meeting topics textbox, and the same will be shared with the AI service to provide the content.
Checklist
This feature is available in the Checklist section. Checklist can be generated based on the item name or the data you enter in the text box. Therefore, either the checklist name or the entered text will be shared with the AI service.
Code editor
This feature is available in the Code editor section.
- The entire code in the editor will be shared with the AI service when you use the Explain code feature.
- The requirement that you enter in the text box will be shared with the AI service when you use the Generate code feature.
