Configure timesheet settings

Timesheet enables you to log your work hours for the purpose of tracking billed and non-billed hours. Zoho Sprints allows you to enable billing status and approval process for timesheet. There are advanced features that enable you to define item based settings for timesheet. Learn more about timesheet.

To define timesheet settings:
  1. Click the gear icon on the top-right corner. The settings window will appear. 

  2. Select Timesheet under Workspace Settings.
  3. Select Billable or Non-billable in the Billing Status.
  4. Select Approve or Pending for the default approval status.
  5. Restrict log submission on holidays or weekends.
  6. Select Enable or Disable if you'd like to log time for items that are closed.
  7. Select Enable or Disable if you'd like to run multiple timers at the same time.
  8. Select Upcoming or Running or Completed or Backlog if you'd like to log time for upcoming sprints, the current sprint, completed sprint or sprints in the Backlog.
  9. Select Allow or Don't Allow if you'd like to log time for dates that are past a certain date. You can choose Custom to customize the option. Apply this restriction when editing timesheet
  10. Select Allow or Don't Allow if you'd like to log time for dates that occurred after a certain date. You can choose Custom to customize the option.
  11. Set Daily Log Hour Limit to ensure that the log time has a stipulated time limit for the day.
  12. Enable the Reminder and specify its settings to ensure that the user is notified if the said limit for time log is not fulfilled.
  13. Set Weekly Log Hour Limit to ensure that the log time has a stipulated time limit for the week.
  14. Enable the Reminder and specify its settings to ensure that the user is notified if the said limit for time log is not fulfilled. 
  15. Enable Auto Stop Timers if you would like to turn off all active timers automatically at a preferred time. You can set this for specific projects and specific profiles. Learn more
  16. Enable Mandate Timers which will allow users to add log hours only through timers and restrict manual entries. Learn more 
  17. Click the Update button to save your settings.

Note:
  1. Only the workspace owners and users with the appropriate profile permission have access to timesheet settings.
  2. The timesheet configuration is a workspace-level setting and will be applied to all projects in the workspace.
