Configure work hours

Every business has a work calendar based on which the work hours of that business are defined. The business hours are the time when the work related to that business is conducted. So, calculating these hours can be used to understand productivity of users and the billed and non-billed hours. This has the needed effect on the timesheet submission days, the work hours limit, and holiday exemptions.

For instance, your organization follows a nine hour work shift format with Saturdays and Sundays as weekly holidays. You do not want your employees to add log hours for those days. In Zoho Sprints, you can define the off days in the Work Hours Settings to disable timesheet submission for the selected days.

  1. Click the gear icon on the top-right corner.
  2. Select Work Hours under Workspace Settings. The Work Hours Configuration window will appear.
  3. Define your settings. 

The following are the specifications you can configure:
  1. Date Format - Select the format in which the date needs to be displayed. Example: MM/DD/YY - 01/30/2023.
  2. Time Format - Select between 12 or 24 hour clock for the time to be displayed.
  3. Work Hours - Select the start and end time for work hours. Example: 9 AM to 6 PM.
  4. Week starts on - Select the Sunday or Monday to be set as start of the week.
  5. Days off - Select the weekly holidays that you follow. Example: Saturday and Sunday.
  6. Holidays - Prepare a holidays list for that year with the schedules holidays.

This is a workspace-level setting. The specifications defined here will be applied to all the projects in your workspace.
