As a program owner or admin, protecting participant privacy is essential. Zoho Thrive offers a Data Anonymization feature to help you maintain compliance and safeguard personal information.
How does it work?
If a participant from any of your programs (within your organization) requests their personally identifiable data to be anonymized, this feature allows you to mask all related data. Once anonymization is complete, their information will be replaced with a non-recognizable unique ID. This ensures that activity records remain intact, but without revealing the participant’s identity.
Follow the steps below to anonymize any of your participant's data:
Click the Settings icon in the navigation toolbar.
Under Settings, go to the Data Anonymization section.
In the search bar, enter the email address of the program participant whose data you want to anonymize.
A list of all the brands the participant is a part of will be displayed, and you can view it once before proceeding with the anonymization.
Once decided, click Remove.
In the authorization pop-up, click Yes, Delete to finalize the process.
This will remove the participant's data across Thrive.
