Data Anonymization
As a program's owner or admin, it's very important to maintain and enforce privacy policies to safeguard your program participants' personal information. To help you with that, Zoho Thrive comes with a feature called Data Anonymization.
How does it work?
If any of your program's (and this includes all of the programs run under an organization) participants' wants you to anonymize all their personally identifiable data within your organization, you can use this feature to mask all the data that's related to them. Once the process is complete the anonymized data will be replaced with a non-recognizable unique ID instead. This way, there will still be a record of the activity, but without the details of who did it.
Follow the steps below to anonymize any of your participant's data:

Follow the steps below to anonymize any of your participant's data:
- Go to the navigation toolbar and click on the
icon.
- Under Settings, go to the Data Anonymization section.
- In the search bar, enter the email address of the program participant whose data you wish to anonymize.
- Press Enter.
- A list of all the brands the participant is a part of will be displayed, and you can view it once before proceeding with the anonymization.
- Once decided, click Remove.
- In the authorization pop-up, click Remove again.
This will remove the participant's data across the organization.
