Email Templates

Effective customer communication is essential for any business's success. Vertical Studio provides robust email template functionality, allowing businesses to create and distribute consistent messages to multiple recipients easily. These templates can be used for mass emails to leads or contacts, as well as for triggering email notifications to users based on specific workflow rules.

Vertical Studio offers three methods to create email templates:

  1. Design from scratch: Build templates tailored to your brand’s needs.

  2. Use pre-designed templates: Select from professionally crafted layouts for quick customization.

  3. Insert custom HTML: Import your HTML designs to ensure a unique and personalized look.

Email templates are available in both the Developer Console and the subscriber organizations. To access templates, navigate to the Templates section in the left-hand menu of the Developer Console.

Packaged Email Templates

Packaged Email Templates are created in the developer console and deployed to subscriber organizations during signup or through upgrades.  Any new Email Template that is created in the developer console will be included in the next version of the application.

Inventory Templates 

In Vertical Studio, Inventory Templates offer a powerful way to customize the print layout of key documents such as Quotes, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, and Invoices to align with your business needs. With this functionality, you can personalize various elements, including field selection, the placement of your company logo, the overall design, and the alignment of line items. 

Packaged Inventory Templates

Packaged Inventory Templates are created in the developer console and deployed to subscriber organizations during signup or through upgrades.  Any new Inventory Template that is created in the developer console will be included in the next version of the application.

Mail Merge Templates

Mail merge templates in Vertical Studio simplify the process of creating personalized documents such as letters, forms, address labels, envelopes, and more. By using merge fields (variables), these templates dynamically pull data from your application, enabling you to generate customized documents with accurate details for each recipient automatically.

For instance, when sending personalized letters to multiple leads or preparing standardized templates for agreements or other legal documents, there is no need to manually enter individual details. Instead, you can set up a template with merge fields (e.g., from the Leads module), and the system will generate personalized documents for each recipient during the merge process.

Packaged Mail Merge Templates

Packaged Mail Merge Templates are created in the developer console and deployed to subscriber organizations during signup or through upgrades.  Any new Mail Merge Template that is created in the developer console will be included in the next version of the application.
