Vertical Studio - Zoho Forms integration

Zoho Forms is a powerful form builder that enables you to capture customer information and easily integrate it with your Zoho Vertical Studio applications. This integration allows form responses to be automatically sent to your Vertical Studio application, doing away with manual data entry and streamlining your data collection process.

The Zoho Vertical Studio - Zoho Forms integration is NOT an organization-to-organization integration. A single Zoho Forms account can connect to multiple Vertical Studio organizations. However, each form can be linked to only one Vertical Studio application. You can connect multiple forms to different Vertical Studio applications.

Consider a Zoho Forms account used by a business that manages multiple Vertical Studio applications across different industries:

They have created three different forms:
  1. Property Inquiry Form that is connected to the Real Estate application

In this setup, each form is connected to a different Vertical Studio organization. The same Zoho Forms account is used across all three industries. However, each individual form can be linked to only one Vertical Studio organization.
Unlike other integrations, Zoho Forms integration is configured from Zoho Forms and allows flexible connections with multiple Vertical Studio organizations.

Availability and Requirements

  1.  Available only for Vertical Studio subscriber organizations
  2. Supported across all editions: Starter, Growth, and Scale
  3. Requires an active Zoho Forms account.

Enabling the Integration

The Zoho Forms integration must be initiated from Zoho Forms, not from Vertical Studio.
To enable the integration:
  1.  Log in to your Zoho Forms account. 
  2.  Navigate to Control Panel > Zoho Vertical Integration. 
  3.  Click Enable.
  4. A consent window will appear displaying the access permissions required for the integration. Click Proceed.
Once enabled, the integration will be active.


Adding Vertical Studio fields to a Form

  1. Open your form in the Zoho Forms builder. 
  2. From the Advanced Fields section, click on Zoho Vertical.

  3. In the field settings: 
    1.  Select the Vertical Studio org you want to connect to. 
    2.  Choose the module.
    3.  Select the appropriate layout. 
    4.  Choose the search type. 
    5.  Select the search field. 
    6.  Configure the required field mappings between form fields and Vertical Studio fields. 
  4.  Click Save. 

Once configured, the form will be able to:
  1. Pre-fill data from Vertical Studio records (based on search criteria) 
  2. Create or update records in the selected module upon form submission
Please note that you can add only Vertical Studio field to a Form.

Integrating a Form with Vertical Studio

After adding and configuring the Zoho Vertical field, you can define how form submissions interact with your Vertical Studio application.
To integrate a form with Vertical Studio:
  1. Go to the Integrations tab in the Zoho Forms builder. 
  2. Select Zoho Vertical. 
  3. Choose the required action to be performed. 



1. Add a New Record

  1.  Go to Integrations > Zoho Vertical > + New Record. 
  2.  Select the Vertical Studio application, module, and layout. 
  3.  Map the mandatory fields from Vertical Studio with the corresponding fields in Zoho Forms. 
  4.  To map additional fields, click + Add Fields and configure as required. 
  5.  Click Integrate. 

  1. Go to Integrations > Zoho Vertical > + Related List. 
  2.  Select the Vertical Studio application, module, related list, and layout. 
  3.  Map the fields with the corresponding form fields. 
  4.  Use + Add Fields to include additional mappings if needed. 
  5.  Choose the required actions (such as Workflows or Attachments, if applicable). 
  6.  Click Integrate. 


3. Update a Record

  1. Go to Integrations > Zoho Vertical > Update Record. 
  2.  The selected module and layout will be displayed by default. 
  3.  Map the fields with the corresponding form fields. 
  4.  Use + Add Fields to include additional mappings. 
  5.  Choose the required actions (such as Workflows or Attachments, if applicable). 
  6.  Click Integrate.

Q: Can I enable the Zoho Forms integration from Vertical Studio?
 A: No. The integration must be enabled from Zoho Forms. It cannot be initiated from Vertical Studio.

Q: Can one Zoho Forms account connect to multiple Vertical Studio organizations?
 A: Yes. A single Zoho Forms account can connect to multiple Vertical Studio applications.

Q: Can a single form be linked to multiple Vertical Studio organizations?

Q: Why is my form not pushing data to Vertical Studio?
 A: Ensure that:
