Does Zoho Webinar share user information with third-party apps?
Zoho Webinar was built entirely at Zoho and doesn’t use any third-party apps. Zoho Webinar doesn’t share any user information with any apps for commercial or advertising purposes. How does Zoho Webinar use browser cookies?
The application sets cookies on both the organizer's and the attendee's browsers in order to maintain the session, provide smooth functionality, and store important configurations, such as session recording status (if you have enabled recording) and notification preferences. The cookies are never used for data mining, marketing, targeting, or advertising purposes.
What information does a webinar organizer get during a webinar?
Zoho Webinar allows organizers to collect the name and email address of the attendees for their own reporting purposes.
What information does Zoho Webinar automatically collect from attendees during a webinar?
Zoho Webinar automatically collects information such as the IP address and browser details. This is for effective bandwidth management and debugging purposes in case users encounter technical issues during a webinar. Zoho Webinar doesn’t track the details of open browser tabs or the links that the attendee clicks.
What provisions does Zoho Webinar have to protect privacy during a webinar?
Organizers’ and attendees’ video is never enabled by default when they enter a webinar. Zoho Webinar always asks for your consent before enabling your web camera or microphone during webinars. Organizers have the option to use the Remove Attendee feature, which automatically dismisses attendees from the webinar.
What security practices does Zoho Webinar follow?
In Zoho Webinar, all transmissions take place through SSL/128-bit AES encryption protocols, which is the industry standard security practice. All data that users share is completely encrypted and saved securely. Refer to Zoho's security and privacy policies to learn more.
