Video transmission for online webinars

You can transmit video using your web camera or other cameras connected to your computer while you host or attend online webinars. There are three video layouts: Tiled view, Active Speaker view, and Sidebar view. When someone is screen sharing, you can use the side bar or view the screen share with active speaker view.

How-to

Transmit video

Enter your webinar window.
Select Computer audio as your audio option. Enable microphone and camera.
Select your camera in the video dropdown.
Start the webinar.
To change the layout, click Layout on the webinar controls and then select any of the video layouts (Tiled, Active Speaker, Sidebar).

To stop video transmission, click the video button below the video feed.

Note

By default, recordings of webinars will not contain video. Only your screen and audio gets recorded. However, if you would like to record video, you can enable Record webinar video option under Settings.
Although you can transmit video, you cannot stream or share video files during a webinar.

Enable video and microphone

To transmit audio and video, you need to provide permission for Zoho Webinar to access your microphone and camera. A pop-up will appear when you select Computer audio for your webinar.

Click Allow to transmit audio and video.

Enabling blocked access

If you block access and need to change it later, you can find the blocked pop-up icon on your address bar.

To provide access, change your preference and click Done.

Firefox

Click the icon next to Permissions and edit browser settings to allow Zoho Webinar to use your microphone and camera.

Click the drop down next to Camera and Microphone and select "Allow" to let Zoho Webinar use your microphone and camera.

Note

Administrators can turn off camera settings and block all members from transmitting video during webinars.
