The primary domain will be displayed in the address bar of a web browser when the site is accessed. It is not possible to set the root domain (domain name without www) as the primary domain in Zoho Sites.
However, if you have configured your domain as mentioned in the Domain Mapping Guide, users can access your website by entering your domain name either with or without the www.
If you want only your root domain name (domain without www) to be set as the primary domain, you may use CloudFlare, a third-party service provider, to meet this requirement.
Log in to your Zoho Sites website builder.
Add a free Zoho sub-domain to your website.
Sign up for a CloudFlare account if you don't have one.
Enter your domain name, then click Add site.
Click +Add record.
Select Type as CNAME from the dropdown.
Provide Name. This is your root domain name (yourdomainname.com).
Provide your Zoho Sites sub-domain in the Target field.
Disable Proxy if required.
Click Save.
Follow the on-screen instructions to update the name servers in your DNS manager.
Go to your domain provider and make the necessary changes.
Return to CloudFlare and click Done, check nameservers.
The root domain of your website will now be displayed in the address bar whenever someone accesses your website.
