Elements - Content & Containers
Content and Containers allow you to add and display elements in various styles. It helps make your layout look more creative, organized, and structured. You can choose from various options to add these elements to your Zoho Sites website.
To add content and containers:
- Click the Add icon
in the top-left corner of the builder, then select Element from the drop-down list.
- Check which will work the best among the Content or Containers element options. Drag and drop them into the section of your choice on your page.
There are three content types, which are Carousel, Tabs, and Accordion.
The two container types are Box and Row. Here's a quick overview of these options:
Carousel displays your content in a slideshow format. These sliders are great for displaying text, visuals, and more. Drag and drop the carousel option on your screen and click Add Element to include text, images, or any element of your choice.
- Click the settings
icon and edit the arrow style, position, and color, and change the slide transition or reorder the slides.
Tabs display your content in tabbed sections. This can come in handy when you want to pack in a lot of information. Drag and drop the tabs option on your screen and click Add Element to include text or images or any element of your choice.

icon and edit the tab style, type, and alignment, and change the typography, background, and border.
Accordion displays your content in pleated, vertical sections. They are especially useful when you want to include FAQs. Drag and drop the tabs option on your screen and click Add Element to include text or images or any element of your choice. Click the Clone or Duplicate button to add more pleats (or FAQs) to your accordion menu.
- Click the settings
icon to rename each fold. Click on the delete icon to remove a specific fold/tab.
Box divides the section into boxed portions, where you can add a background color or image to highlight your content. Drag and drop the box element on your screen and start editing.
Row divides the section into rows of various ratios of your choice. Drag and drop the row element on your screen and start editing.
- Click on the settings icon to choose as many rows in a ratio and alignment of your choice.
To add elements to your container:
Click Add Element to access the content tray, then select the element you would like to add.
