Comments help to create a feedback mechanism from a community of interested users. You can add comment boxes on the content page to provide relevant comments to your visitors. You can also moderate the comments that your website receives to avoid spam.
To add a comment box on your page:
- Click the Add [
] icon in the top-left corner of your builder. - Click App from the dropdown.

- Click Comment Box.

- The comment box will appear on your page as follows:


You can only have one comment box per page.
To customize your comment box for webpages:
- Go to Configuration -> Site Options from the left panel.

- Select the Preferences tab.
- Scroll down to the Comment Box Preferences section and apply your preferred settings.

- Select the Comments per page value from the dropdown.

- Enable or disable Email Notification depending on whether you want an email delivered when someone adds a comment.

- Activate Show captcha to protect your site from spam.

- Choose the following Moderation settings:
- Select Off to display all the comments on your blog without moderation.
- Select Automatic to enable automatic moderation of the comments.
- Select Manual to moderate each comment manually.

Note: Automatic comment moderation checks for profanity and flags comments based on spam score.

- Choose the following Allowed Users options:
- Select All to allow all visitors to your site to add comments.

- Select Registered users to allow only registered users to add comments.

- Click Save.
To moderate your comment box:
- Go to Manage -> Comments from the left panel.

- The comments received via the comment box will be displayed under the Comment Box tab, along with the time, date, user name, and email address of the person who posted the comment.

- Select the comment you want to moderate. You can perform bulk actions on these comments.

- You can easily take the steps to moderate the comments by accessing the icons above the comments.

You can perform the following actions while moderating the comments: - Approve the comment if it's appropriate and genuine. The check mark icon above the comments lets you approve the selected comment.
- Mark the comment as Inappropriate if the selected comment is not suitable or proper. You can click the icon above the comments or click Inappropriate next to the comment.

- Mark the comment as Spam if you think the comment is unsolicited or unnecessary. You can click the exclamatory icon above the comments or click Spam next to the selected comment.
- Mark the comment as Not Spam if you assume it's not spam but don't want to approve it.

- Mark the comment as Trash if it's irrelevant and not needed. You can click the trash icon above the comments or click Trash next to the selected comment.
- Click Restore to move the comments back to moderation from Trash.

You can also click or directly mark the comments as Inappropriate/Spam/Trash using the shortcut buttons provided on the right.

- The Pending status displayed next to the comment changes when you choose a specific category for your comment.
- Only approved comments will appear on the blog for your visitors to see.
- You can use the filter icon to filter comments based on the categorization you have given while moderating.
To delete comments:
- Go to Manage -> Comment Boxes on the left panel.
- Select the Comment Box tab. All comments along with the pages they are displayed on will be visible here.
- Select the required comment for deletion and click Trash.

- The delete option will now be displayed. Select the required comment for deletion and click Delete. Once deleted, comment boxes cannot be restored.


Add comment boxes on pages where you need feedback from your visitors. This also helps to track and moderate them easily.
