Basics of Zoho Sites - Publish

You start building your website by choosing a template, adding elements and sections to it, and customizing it further. Once you complete designing your website, it is ready to publish. Before you do, thoroughly check your website for any inconsistencies or mistakes related to content, alignment, or layout. You can preview your website before clicking the Publish button.

Preview

View the preview of your website before you publish it to see how your site looks and functions for the visitors, and to ensure there are no mistakes.
  1. Click the Preview icon  in the top-right corner of your builder header to generate a replica of your website.

  2. Every website you create is automatically optimized for mobile and tablet. Your website will look great on phones, tablets, and desktops.
  3. You can preview your website to see how it will look on these devices.

Publish

If the preview of the website looks good, get ready to take your website live. Users will be able to visit your website regardless of the device they are using. Remember that our templates are automatically optimized for all devices. You can publish your website and make subsequent edits by clicking Publish in the top-right corner of your builder.

Notes: You will need a domain name before your site goes live. An ideal domain name would be one that is specific to the nature of your website. If you do not have a domain already, you will need to configure one.

Configuring your domain

When you click the Publish button for the first time, you will be able to choose from the following domain options:
  1. Create a free sub domain.
  2. Buy a new domain name.
  3. Map your existing domain.
