2019 in review: A look back at the Zoho Forms Mobile App

As we wrap up 2019, it's time to revisit what's happened this year in the world of the Zoho Forms Mobile App and give an outline on what's coming up next year. First things first. We want to say a big thank you for your continued support and constant feedback - keep it coming! 2019 has been tremendous for us as we continued to explore new ways to bring ease and power to mobile teams.   


Here's a quick rundown of what 2019 offered! 




What to expect in 2020?  We are entering into 2020 with big ideas and the goal of building many great moments together! Here's a sneak peek of a few of them. 

Introducing new modes - A journey towards a better user experience
  • Dark Mode for live form UI - Make form filling easier for anyone using a mobile device in low light.
  • Guest Mode - Skip the sign in/sign up process and create a form and fill on the go without any internet connection.
  • Force Offline Mode - During any internet connectivity issues, choose this offline mode and restrict Zoho Forms mobile application from syncing with the internet. Later, on a stable internet connection, you can sync back your form data.
  • Draft Mode - Auto save form entries even before submitting or saving. Restore them upon reopening.  
Introducing new features - To continue powering mobile teams with easy data collection 
  • Business Card scanning for Android - Good news for the Android lovers! You can scan business cards via your Android device to autofill card details in forms. 
  • In-app notification upon new submissions - Stay updated with notifications in your mobile device whenever a new form submission comes in.
