24 Hour Delay after Autoresponder Edit
Hey Zoho Team and Community!!
I hope all is well.
I'm having another issue with autoresponders in Campaigns.
When testing my autoresponder, I set delay time for 100 days (for example) because I don't want it to actually go out during testing/editing. For instance, I'm tinkering and adding test users to my list, I don't want the autoresponder to fire off an email.
When finalizing the processes, I go to change the autoresponder to "immediately" so I can launch...YAY!!! (which I was going to do today!)....and I get a message (boooo!) saying:
"Changes may take up to 24 hours to take effect, and you cannot reschedule messages planned for today. Do you still want to proceed?"
What??? 24 hours for a change to an autoresponder? I literally could type out a message, print it out, put it in an envelope and mail it to a good portion of my clients and they would get it before they change is completed.
Seriously though, I have used almost every automated email system out there and ALL of them apply changes to autoresponders INSTANTLY. What is going on with Zoho that could require a 24 wait after an edit?
A few moments...."well, ok"
5 minutes..... "ugh...ok"
Up to an hour.... "what?? Errr.... I guess I can wait"
Up to a full day????....."you're not serious, are you? What in the world is going on back there!"
And since it says "up to 24 hours" we really have NO IDEA when it will actually take affect. And what if we see another minor change that we need to fix....we wait another 24 hours?
So....back to my USE CASE...
So I made my edits, set my autoresponder to fire off an email immediately upon a user being added to my list....and of course there is no outgoing email showing. Now since Zoho does this bizarre delay, I have no idea if I did something wrong in my configurations, or if the changes just haven't taken place yet. Now I have to wait until tomorrow and do the test again to be sure??
Whatever is in the process that would require such a delay should be addressed ASAP, as that is sooooo far out of the norm. If I didn't see it myself and someone would have told that...I honestly would not have believed them!
I love Zoho...Love your work....Love your products. But sometimes I see stuff like this and just shake my head.
Can you fix this please??
