An important update for Zoho Cliq desktop users

An important update for Zoho Cliq desktop users

The latest version of the Zoho Cliq desktop app (v1.8.0) will no longer be supported on macOS 10.15 Catalina and earlier versions. This is because the framework we use (Electron) no longer supports some older macOS versions.

If you’re using macOS 10.15 or an older version

You can continue using desktop app versions before v1.8.0, but remember that these older versions will not receive future updates or new features.

To enjoy the best performance, improved security, and the latest features, we strongly recommend upgrading your macOS to a supported version.

Options to continue using Zoho Cliq

1. Update to macOS 11 Big Sur or later to use the latest Cliq desktop app (v1.8.0+) with full support and updates.
2. If upgrading isn’t a feasible option right now, you can continue using Zoho Cliq via the web app or mobile app, which provides almost the same experience.
3. For users who are unable to upgrade their macOS, you can download the last supported version of the Cliq Desktop App (v1.8.0) using the links below. But please note that it will not receive any future updates.
  1. Zoho Cliq 1.7.6 (Intel)
  2. Zoho Cliq 1.7.6 (Apple Silicon)
We understand that upgrading your operating system can take time, but it’s essential to maintain the best performance, security, and feature access in Zoho Cliq.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Best,
Shanthana Lakshmi S

Then, click on the three dots to open a pop up menu. Here, click on the Reply button and type the reply to the message in the compose box and press Enter.   Voila, that was pretty simple.
