Are bounces automatically removed?

Are bounces automatically removed?

Does anybody know:

I have a campaign that was cancelled due to too many bounces. Will the email addresses that caused the bounces removed automatically from the mailing list? So the next time I use the list, will the quality have improved?

If yes: Fine! Cool!
If no: How can I remove those addresses from the mailing list?
