Bounced Emails - Zoho's Criteria

1) What criteria does Zoho Campaign use to determine if an email is a "bounced" email?  (For example, the last vendor I used would classify an email address as bounced if it was undeliverable three times.)

2) Does CRM get updated so that we know an email bounced?  How?  What field?  (I have two way sync set-up.)
