I'm new to Campaigns and I'm a little confused about the sync process, All Subscribers, and how they both relate to Mailing Lists.

We are planning a transition to Zoho CRM from Dynamics CRM and we intend to have CRM be our primary database of subscribers. That is, all subscribers we have in Campaigns will be coming via a sync from CRM: Leads and Contacts.

When I do a sync I can assign those records to a mailing list. I get that. But if I want to create multiple mailing lists with the same records is it correct that I have to create one sync per mailing list? This seems inefficient from a data processing perspective so I'm wondering if I understand the process correctly.

It seems more efficient to have one sync that gets data from a source and then segment those records into mailing lists once they're in Campaigns. This gets to my original question which is "Can I create mailing lists from the All Subscribers list"?
