I recall seeing a feature that would use the Date of the Webinar and calculate it backwards. 5

So if  Webinar was on Jan 21 and someone signed up for the webinar 14 days in advance they would receive an email based upon the numbers of day before the event and when they opted in.

This seem like a lot of work but there are few webinar tools with reminders, even fewer that are customizable.
