Contacts : taking notes in contact ?

How can I create and save notes about a contact (in Zoho Contacts) ?

N.B. the note field in the PERSONNAL data field cannot register more than a few characters and is not suitable for taking extensive notes about a contact.

N.B. 2 Some contacts I don't want in CRM (like personnal contacts).
