"Customise Content" option not showing for drafts or "edit as new"

Could you please fix the bug that's causing this? If I start a post, then save it as a draft, I lose the ability to customize content for each channel on that post -- the button just doesn't show up when I go back in to edit an existing draft. Same happens if I try to replicate an existing post and "edit as new" -- I can edit the post, but I don't get the option to customize content. But, annoyingly, the little reminder line explaining that I should, "use the customise content option" to display more images still appears...
